Luang Si Falls

Headed up to a local swimming hole outside of town. Cool waterfalls with travertine pools and a super fun rope swing. Heading down to Tha Khaek tomorrow morning early with an overnight in Vientienne. Gonna be another long couple days of busses on questionable mountain roads, but its the only way to get around this country. Good thing it's easy to be a millionaire here :)

Luang Prabang

The trek was a very fun, unforgettable experience. Hiked many miles through the jungle each day with our guide Khong. Stayed with Ahtka villagers, ate some water buffalo, and drank the village dry of rice liquor. Made the long, bumpy, and very winding journey to Luang Prabang today. Very beautiful city on the Mekong, and definitely the swankiest place we've been yet.

Laos

Crossed the Mekong into Laos today and road an old bus to Luang Namtha. After our week in our hut we decided to go all out on a $6 hotel room. Met some nice French girls on the bus and we're all going on a two day jungle trek tomorrow with an overnight in a local village.

Almost There

After three bus rides we made it to the border, however with not enough time left to cross. One more night in Thailand. We got nice and cozy with the bus driver on our last leg.

The Dogs of Pai

Leaving Pai this morning and heading for Loas. Had a very nice time in Pai and could probably stay forever, but glad to be back on the road. Hopefully we will get to the border early enough to cross the Mekong into Huay Xi.
