The overnight bus ride was quite the experience, as bus rides in this country always are. Always packed to the haunches with people and goods, loud Asian karaoke blasting on the tv, and the occasional local hanging their head out the window vommitting. This last bus's entire floor was covered in large bags of laundry soap, which Tyler and I fashioned into makeshift beds for the overnight journey. The bus arrived at the Mekong around sunrise and we hired a boat to the island of Don Dhet. It is a quiet little island and we found a nice bungalow on the west facing side. There are lots of other tourists here, and most activities on the island center around floating on the river. We will probably stay for a few days and relax before heading to Cambodia.

I love all of your photos. I am living vicariously through you and Camper Tyler. :)
